| Individual therapy will vary depending on the presenting problem, the personality of the client, the personality of the therapist, and the theoretical orientation of the therapist. |
| There are many paradoxes in Jungian therapy. Perhaps the biggest is the conflict with the ego. Frequently the therapist is in a battle with the client’s ego to bring unconscious material into consciousness. At the same time, the client needs sufficient ego strength to encounter unconscious material. Jungian depth therapy is not for sissies! |
